Into debauchery

This is just one of the many songs that I thought was pretty good before I saw Hardcore Superstar live. Now I think they're GREAT!
Jocke, the singer, has such a strong personality that shines through on stage. His voice sometimes reminds me of Axl Rose and I have so far not heard him sing false. Not once.
The band started off in -97 but I think they are bigger then ever right now. Espacially with their fairly new guitarist Vic Zino who has some creative cards up his sleeve to make things more entertaining.

Compare the studio version of the song with the live version. Nowadays there's too many artists who uses playback. This is pure and honest singing from the heart.
Just like it should be.

Cows and exams

This spring we have two big projects in school. We are working in different teams with seven people in each. It's a challenge... for sure! But also a lot of fun. I get to know myself and my classmates so much better each day. These projects are extremly important because this is how we'll be working in the real world. Teachers work in teams and have to sort out any conflicts that occur. And you can't avoid conflicts when you meet seven hours a day/ five times a week. Last week we finished our first project which was about cows. Haha, yeah I know ;) Basically the theme was "My home" so we described the cows lives and also took a trip to a cow farm during our work. It was such a blast meeting that farmer and his 165 cows.
Not to mention the calves.

The presentation went well if you don't count the fact that everyone in our group was sick. We tortured ourselves through that last week with horrific colds and sore throats. And we're still struggling with it. When are we ever gonna get better!?

The rest of the school exams haven't gone so well either. I keep failing them over and over again. Despite of this I still haven't collapsed, like I did earlier this semester because of stress. My private life is getting better and better so that's what is keeping my head above the surface.
It's so strange thinking of how much my life has changed these past two months. Many have said that I've changed, which is fun because I think most of it is in positive ways. I'm a completely different person and still I feel the same. I guess that's why is called development.

A lot has to do with that weekend...
It takes a lot of guts to head out on a journey like that all by yourself. But I just thought that Viper had done it before, so of course I could do it too! I mean, why not? She was scared and so was I. But now that I’ve taken that first leap I can just keep on going. It’s like bungy jumping.

Dark Decadence Tour part 2

Next day we got up really early to leave a rainy Gothenburg and go to Stockholm. When we got there we met a woman named Anna who helped us to find a place to eat and get to the venue. It was such a great day, like summer outside! Wish I would’ve taken some photos of all of those people sitting outside eating ice cream and soaking up some sun. We even saw Jocke from Hardcore Superstar pass us in a hurry :P
We went to the venue pretty early and got a spot in the front row. The 69 Eyes kicked off tonight’s show and they were so much better than last night! The singer was still walking around like a diva, but still, good performance.

Crashdiet was beyond amazing. The fact that they had a longer session and was in their hometown added some extra energy. I truly wish that I could have enjoyed it more than I did. Behind me I had four people who were fucking idiots and during “Riot in everyone” they started pushing on everyone in the front. It was impossible for them to get by so they basically just hurt us and during like 15 minutes I was completely squashed. They were pressing at my lungs and it was so hot that I couldn’t breathe. I tried to stay calm but at several times I panicked and wanted to run the hell out of there. But no, forget about it. I am not going to let some ill-mannered people destroy my dream. So I tried focusing on the guys’ performance and just take deep breathes instead of crying.
At some point I let those people behind me stand in front of me (or well, they pushed their way through and looked like they were hypnotized by the band. Apparently you can’t be a fan and behave like a normal person at the same time… weird that I can. Must be some special super gift that I have to actually care about the people around me at a concert and not want to kill them.)
Luckily Viper came out afterwards and asked if I wanted to go somewhere else which I gladly did. I had been focusing so much on not trying to squash her too during the gig that I barely know if she understood how bad the situation was. (and I’m glad if she didn’t of course)

Hardcore Superstar was yet again amazing and even though my feet hurt like hell I kept dancing to their songs. But during the end of their gig (when Simon apparently stage dived on some poor little girl in the dark, lol) Viper asked me to help her with her necklace. She had forgotten her keys back home in Germany an realized the staff on the airport wouldn't like it if she kept it on. We tried everything to get it up, spoke to every single person who worked around Cirkus but no one could help. And I saw how she panicked and I wanted to help but didn’t know how. At the end we met Peter by the merchandise and he could calm her down, since he’s been flying with necklaces like that for lord knows how many years…

The other guys had already left but we talked to Peter for a while. I was barely nervous and I didn’t feel like “OH MY GOD IT’S PETER LONDON!!” and walked away surprised that he was nice. I knew that he would be. We all know Peter’s nice. So it felt like talking to a friend and I walked away from there feeling humble that he knew who I was after telling him my forum nick name.
Unfortunately he couldn’t come to Rocks, but the other guys were there. Although I didn’t talk to any of them, even though I wanted to. There were way too many people around for me to feel comfortable. Plus Simon was drunk and although he was a funny drunk I still would have preferred a normal conversation with someone I look up to
;) So those conversations with the guys gets to wait for some better opportunities. But I did manage to get an autograph of his boot on my boot when he waddled past me after trying to get into the girls WC (with no luck xD) haha ouch!

People who haven't met Peter London don't know what genuine human kindness means

I had a good time at Rocks. People at rock clubs are so much nicer then on other places. We hung out with Jonas (from the forum) and his girlfriend who were both really nice. I’m so happy that I’ve finally found a way to be social without having to hear the same techno song being played on repeat for an hour. And I don’t need to feel the pressure of dancing, I can just hang out in a sofa and no one will say a word about me being boring.
At Rocks. We look like two druggies here, lol...

We managed to stay awake the whole night and morning, it wasn’t easy though. After sitting at McDonald´s for an hour we walked the whole way from Cirkus to the train station. Viper went home around 6 so to stay awake I took a walk out in the freezing cold and took some nice pics of the city. At 9 in the morning I finally got to take my train home.

Dark Decadence Tour part 1

Okay, so let's just skip that whole "30 days challenge" for a little while ;) I want to tell you guys about my amazing weekend! Well, it was actually two weeks ago now. I guess an experience like this puts you in a stand-by mode for a while. But now I've pressed play again.

I started off with sitting on a train to Gothenburg for 5 hours. The only entertaining thing that happened there was when a little girl asked her mom “Are we there yet?” for the fiftieth time on fifteen minutes. When I arrived I searched for Viper on the plattform and didn't find her until I got to the station. Talk about butterflies. When I finally saw her she threw her arms around me and gave me the biggest hug ever. Let's just say that we knew right there and then that we'd get along in real life as well, not just online. My train was a bit late, so we threw ourselves into a taxi, ran to the hostel (forgot to leave my big bag there though… hmpf) and then went to Lisebergshallen. There was already a really big line there, but since we met some forum people we ended up somewhere in the middle ;)

What can I say about my first Crashdïet gig? Well, I didn’t stand on a very good spot but could see enough. And it was so surreal… because it was THEM! Obviously the gig ended way too soon but the guys rocked and that’s what counts :)
I didn’t take any photos at all of Crash this weekend. I just filmed the beginning of their gig in Gothenburg, because I wanted to save this in my memory instead. There were so many others who took pics and filmed it so I have that saved anyway.

We went out to get something to drink when a guy came up to us. He refused to believe that Viper was from Germany since she used a different fraise to translate something for him, lol. “I’ve taken German class in school and you are soo not speaking that right now. Are you two messing with me?”
I think she managed to convince him after a while though ;)

We managed to find Izzie and his girlfriend outside so we hung out with them the rest of the evening. Both of them are very, very nice! We just saw a little bit of The 69 Eyes. They weren’t very good, I liked to hear their music live but that singer acted ridiculous on stage. Viva la diva.

Anyways, I was looking forward to seeing Hardcore Superstar because I like some of their songs. But I had no idea I would be this blown away by their performance! Jocke’s voice is amazing and his charisma on stage is crazy. I saw them twice this weekend, but I want more!!

We went to the after party but me and Viper couldn’t get in because she had forgotten her ID at the hostel, so we just decided to go back to the hostel instead. And if Izzie called and told us Crash was at the party then of course we would go there. But apparently they didn’t show up which wasn’t surprising. We already saw from the outside that this place wasn’t their/our style at all….
So we went to bed pretty early that night and stayed up and talked for a while. Viper is the sweetest thing ever! I’ve made a new friend.

30 challenges in 30 days - 2

My first love
I met my first love when I was 14 years old. He was 17 and his friends called him Dante although that wasn't his real name. Dante had a difficult life at home with a mother who treated him very badly, but he took out his anger in the martial arts. I thought he was a very, very sweet guy that only wanted to be free from his family. So we started talking and it was nice to have someone like him in my life. But he rushed ahead of me and started planning the future which totally scared me off! I had only begun my life as a teenager and he was already talking like we were grown ups. So I ended up saying that I didn't feel okay with being with him anymore. We were basically on different levels in life. But he's a nice guy so I'm hoping he has found his freedom by now.

30 challenges in 30 days - 1

About myself
My name is Caroline and I was born in Sweden year 1990. I have always been an esthetic person who loves dancing, music, art, photographing and all kinds of weather! Even though I like spending time with my friends I am also a lone wolf. I need atleast a couple of hours every day to be by myself. That time I usually spend on listening to various rock bands on the highest volume possible.

I began cutting away meat from my diet when I was around 13 years old. I had developed an interest to look up where my food came from and how the animals were treated. And let me tell you, it wasn't pretty. So if there's anything I can debate about for hours; it's animals rights. This is the idealistic side of me that refuses to pretend that the meat industry looks any different. I wont turn my backs on the animals.

Other then that I am a fairly simple girl who prefers grub food instead of fancy restaurants. I always want people to be happy and therefore I don't make decisions immediately, because I'm thinking of everyone who will be affected by it. This is definitely not one of my stronger sides because it's a drawn-out process. At the end I just want peace around me and my loved ones so I solve fights with a diplomatic point of view. There's no reason to get rowled up most of the times. Although, even I have my enemies. But that's a whole other story ;)

Me and my wonderful dance buddies :)

Thailand travellers officially home

Our parents are home from Thailand now. They spent two weeks there while me and my sister got to take care of the apartment on our own. The past weeks have made me realise just HOW ready I am to move from home and get my own place. Now that they are home again I feel suffacated, like it's too crowded and I need more space. It was so nice and quiet when it was just me and my sister here. She's the one who's happy they are home. But that's easy for her to say since she's probably going to move away in a couple of months, if she's accepted to the college in Umeå. I'm pretty much stuck here... I would be stupid to move since I live so close to school and I'm not forced to take a loan. My parents prefer me to stay here a couple of years extra instead of having to pay back a bunch of money to the bank later. And of course they are right... (don't get me wrong though, it's not like I wanted them to stay in Thailand forever, lol)

I got some really nice gifts. A Donna Karen perfume called "Be delicious".
And yes, I will be delicious. Promise.
I also got this beautiful bracelet :) so Hawaiian style...
