I won't let you love me until you really try

Rock n´ roll is not always music. It's about a certain attitude and way of thinking.

And Robyn is rock n´ roll all the way.

Warming up for the summer gigs

Right now there is so much prepration going on for the upcoming festivals. I am pretty much done with my planning. Now I'm just getting excited about finding out who is going where. I know that a few more friends are going to Skogsröjet which is great! Viper, Nat and Allie are also thinking about coming there which would be more than awesome! Just to warm up for the summer I have seen two gigs ;)

Me and Sofie went to Söderhamn a couple of weeks ago to see Casablanca. It's a long way to go, but we both love car trips so that was never an issue. I wish someone would have filmed us during those three hours on the road because we must have looked insane :P Few people can make me laugh as hard as this girl. We had to drive though a crazy rain storm all the way, but we finally arrived at the nice little steakhouse. It was a very old house with hotel rooms on the upperfloor and bar/stage on the ground floor. Super cosy. Casablanca, together with the bad weather, attracted a fully crowded bar! What a great evening that was :) We laughed, we danced, we talked until 3 o clock in the morning. Just how it should be. And of course we ate the obligatory unhealthy breakfast on our way home the next day, chocolate cupcakes and cookies... well, we couldn't find a pizzeria, so...

Last Friday I went to Huddinge to see Crashdiet perform for the first time in 5 months. Peter said that they had improved the show so of course I was curious to see what is was all about! I wish the trip hadn't been so long though. Too many train rides here and there all by myself. And I hadn't been feeling well that day. But the guys did great and I totally forgot about feeling tired and sick during their gig :)
The show had definitely improved, it was bigger and better. But mot importantly, the guys looked stoked to be back on stage. No wonder... I mean, they've been saving up energy this whole winter and spring :P

A bunch of stuff has happened since I last wrote here! Loreen DID win the Eurovision Song Contest. And what the scores were after that is irrelevant to me of course, haha... all I know is that Russia came on an honorable 2:nd place. I will get a ticket to the ESC final next year, because who knows when we'll get to be the hosts again!
At the end of May I went to the "Flying day" at Hässlö with my dad. He used to take me there as a kid but I quickly got tired of it and wanted to go home. I've felt pretty bad about him having to go there all by himself for the past few years. He really loves flying and is working on getting his old certificate again. But those days at Hässlö are very long and the sun is always annoyingly hot. But now that I am a grown up I decided to come along. I love history after all and there are some really old planes in the museum to look at and learn about. We were there for 5-6 hours, I got to ride in a chopper, we saw a bunch of flying shows and walked around in the museum. I stayed positive and happy for my dad's sake even though I wasn't THAT interested. What I'll remember most about this event is his reaction to when I told him I was coming along. He got so surprised and so happy :) I've always been daddy's little girl but I've been pretty bad at showing him how much I love him lately. So this was my way of paying him back for being such a great dad...
