So the busride to Uppsala was worth it! Although it broke down so we stood still on the freeway for half an hour... haha great... didn't think I would make it on time! I met Sara (dïethead) and a friend of hers at the station and we arrived at Grand just in time for the first bands performance!
Wreckless was okay. They have potential, but need more experience. They'll get there :)
The second band was Abrunn who really took me by surprise! I've listened to their songs on MySpace but must say I prefered the sound at the gig, which was acoustic. They had the important ability of making the crowd laugh when something went wrong. Which it did quite often as they hadn't had much time to rehears ;) Their happy-go-lucky performance and sweet songs made me a fan and I wish them the best of luck.
While waiting for Alter Egon to hit the stage, I sat down with Liz, Anna and a girl who happened to be from Paris! She's a Crashdïet fan and is going to the same gig as us in December. She was so sweet and promised to help us when we get there, since barely no one in France speaks english... I can't believe how lucky we were to meet her!
I truly enjoyed seeing Alter Egon live for the first time, he kicked ass of course and played for a good half hour! Some of the songs he played was "Könsrockare", "En dator måste man ha" & "Jag är Alter Egon".
Challenge yourself by listening to his music. Drop all of your prejudice thoughts and open your mind...
Afterwards we wanted to go and have a drink somewhere. After driving around for some time we finally found a place that was open. Bu it was too late for me to stay because I had to take the last bus home. But hey... at least I got a nice ride around in the city, haha! (stubborn optimist)
Big thanx to Liz who gave me a ride to the bus station! :)
